Breathe better, live better: join our community of peaceful breathers
In uncertain times, it helps to have a place to return to: a simple breath practice, a familiar rhythm, and a circle of people devoted to peace, presence, and steadiness.
Buteyko BreathMastery is an ongoing weekly support program for people who want to cultivate calmer, quieter, more functional breathing while staying connected to a community of peaceful breathers. It is not a fast-paced course or an information-heavy training. It is a space for practice, reflection, and support – gentle, consistent, and deeply grounding.
During the second quarter of 2026, we will continue meeting live every Sunday for one hour. Sasha Yakovleva will lead each session, except on occasional Sundays when we welcome a guest or hold a special meeting.
This quarter also introduces something slightly new: our weekly meeting structure will remain the same each Sunday. That consistency is intentional. In a world that often feels rushed, fragmented, and overstimulating, a familiar rhythm can be deeply regulating. Knowing what to expect allows the nervous system to settle, helps the practice deepen over time, and creates a reliable weekly anchor.
Each regular Sunday session will include:
- 30–40 minutes of guided breathing practice
- sharing and reflection
- Q&A and support
This is valuable at any time, but it feels especially meaningful right now, as troubling conflicts in the world are generating anxiety, uncertainty, and inner tension for so many people. BreathMastery offers a space to return to yourself, to breathe more peacefully in a way that supports your health, and to stay connected to steadiness and inner peace even when the world feels unsettled.
Throughout this quarter, we will practice a variety of Buteyko breathing exercises, including breath holds, reduced breathing, and sound-based exercises – a living blend of many of the practices we have explored before. This quarter is a wonderful opportunity to experience them, whether for the first time or again, and to discover which exercises support you best at this stage of your journey.
Instead of always adding new material, we will focus on deepening your experience through practice, repetition, and small refinements. The regular format gives you a strong foundation, while the variety of Buteyko exercises allows you to explore and discover what works best for you.
BreathMastery is especially for those who long for:
- a consistent weekly anchor
- a gentler and more respectful relationship with breathing
- support in staying steady in anxious or unsettled times
- space to explore different Buteyko practices and discover what works best
- a sense of shared practice and belonging
Even more importantly, our weekly practice helps improve carbon dioxide tolerance and supports more efficient oxygen delivery throughout the body. Over time, this can support better health, greater resilience, and freedom from many symptoms. As Sasha often emphasizes, there is no health without healthy breathing. Healthy breathing is not a small detail: it is one of the most essential foundations of health and well-being.
This is a community of peaceful breathers: people who are learning to live with less force, less reactivity, and more presence.
If you are seeking a supportive weekly rhythm, a deeper connection with your breath, and a live community to help anchor you in both everyday life and challenging times, you are warmly welcome to join us in BreathMastery this quarter.
