The mission of the Buteyko Breathing Center is to educate clients about a non-medical approach to breathing improvement based on the discoveries and lifelong research of K. P. Buteyko, MD, PhD, and his team of doctors, fitness instructors, and scientists.
By signing below, I understand, agree, and acknowledge that the courses and consultations offered by the Buteyko Breathing Center and presented by Sasha Yakovleva are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare professional.
I understand that the material taught by the Buteyko Breathing Center and by Sasha Yakovleva is not intended to replace medical care. I also understand that this disclaimer applies to both adults and children. If the participant is a child, the parent or legal guardian signing below accepts this disclaimer on the child’s behalf.
I understand that the purpose of this educational program is to help participants improve breathing habits and support a healthier lifestyle through breathing exercises and related principles inspired by Dr. Buteyko’s method.
I understand that I should consult my physician or other qualified healthcare provider regarding participation in these exercises and practices, especially if I have any medical condition or concern. Medical supervision and consent can help support the safe and appropriate application of the information presented by the Buteyko Breathing Center and Sasha Yakovleva.
If any exercise, practice, or approach learned through the Buteyko Breathing Center or through consultations or courses offered by Sasha Yakovleva causes discomfort or raises any health concern, I will stop immediately and consult my physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
I understand that I should never stop taking medications, change dosages, or otherwise alter prescribed treatment without first consulting my physician.
By choosing to participate in courses or consultations offered by the Buteyko Breathing Center and Sasha Yakovleva, I acknowledge that I am doing so voluntarily and accept personal responsibility for my own health, or for the health of the child on whose behalf I am signing. The Buteyko Breathing Center and Sasha Yakovleva assume no responsibility for decisions made by participants regarding medical care or for the way the educational information is applied.
